Ufuoma Imonioro is the Founder and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Aviam Offshore Engineering Company Limited, a position he has held since the company’s establishment in 2016. He provides strategic leadership, guiding the company’s growth, operational direction, and long-term value creation within the oil & gas and maritime sectors.
With extensive experience across global oil and gas operations—particularly within the upstream segment—he brings deep industry insight to strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and market positioning. His leadership is defined by a strong ability to anticipate industry trends, navigate complex socio-economic landscapes, and build sustainable relationships with partners and shareholders.
A transformational leader, he has successfully delivered multiple projects by fostering high-performing teams grounded in professionalism, accountability, and ethical conduct. His leadership approach combines technical expertise with a strong emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin and a Masters in Business Administration from Lagos Business School. He has further strengthened his business acumen through executive education at Fudan University, IESE Business School, IPADE Business School and Wharton School . He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Nigerian Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (NNCC), and serves as a Director of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), Nigerian Chapter.
His vision is to position Aviam Offshore as a leading indigenous energy services provider, recognized for delivering consistent, high-quality solutions to clients and stakeholders.
